Skyline’s scalable leadership technology C4X was the first-of-its-kind solution when it launched in 2012, and it has evolved every year. We are excited to continue this evolution with the integration of machine learning into the C4X platform. For leaders, machine learning will provide a greater curated experience, increasing program value and results. For companies investing in coaching for their employees, machine learning will expand the data and reporting insights available.
Furthermore, machine learning will advance C4X’s personalized email micro-learning capabilities, ensuring curated, actionable content when and where it’s needed.
As part of the development of this capability, an extensive analysis of the system (almost a thousand pages of content and hundreds of supporting resources) explored the following questions:
- What data are captured for creating learning goals of the leaders?
- How is content connected to learning goals?
- How is the training program organized?
- What are the key interactions between coach and leader?
- What are the most important actions the system can take that will provide greatest value to the leader?
An algorithm was developed to evaluate relevance of a resource with respect to a user profile, coaching objectives, and program interaction. This algorithm employs AI techniques like collaborative filtering, user profile analysis, and program analysis.
“We are very excited to provide companies and their employees with powerful coaching solutions. This continued evolution of our C4X platform aligns directly with our belief and mission of ‘Better Leaders / Better World’—that the world becomes a better place through the influence and impact of better leaders,” shares Milo Sindell, head of Skyline’s technology development.
