The automated enrichment addition to Fuse Metadata Manager is said to enable near-instantaneous enrichment of title metadata from third-party data sources. Using the company’s machine learning-driven content knowledge base, Fuse Metadata Manager is programmed to match incoming metadata files with corresponding records from external metadata providers and automatically replace missing, incorrect or inconsistent title data with a verified, high-quality alternative.
Fuse IQ uses AI techniques to tackle repetitive and time-intensive problems such as automating the extraction of time-coded metadata from assets for improved content localisation workflows.
“Over the past decade, the complexity of the media supply chain has grown exponentially,” remarked Piksel co-managing director co-managing director Kris Brown.
“Our Fuse suite of products is designed to help customers cut through that complexity and bring clarity and visibility to their workflows. The updates we’re showcasing at NAB will help them do that more easily and efficiently than ever. With the development of both enrichment and Fuse IQ, we focused on problems our customers face today that will only become harder to solve tomorrow. In both cases, we’re using the power of machine learning to remove a huge manual burden without taking away any of the control.”
