Antique Northwood Jefferson Glass Beaded Drapes Vaseline Opalescent Footed Bowl

$ 22.57

Availability: 100 in stock

Description

You are viewing an exceptional example of early 1900 Vaseline or Uranium Glass. This is a four footed Canary Opalescent Bowl, pattern on this item is called "Beaded Drapes" this attractive pattern is attributed to Northwoods Glass and Jefferson Glass introduced in 1905. This bowl is very reactive and glows brightly under UV/black light(see photos). It is in excellent used condition with no chips, breaks, nicks or cracks found, it does have manufacture mark that I would call a glass fold near edge(see last photo).
Bowl measures approximately 8 ½" across widest part of top and 3 ¾" at highest edge.
There may be straw marks, shear marks, air bubbles, heavy mold seams, tool marks and/or other manufacturing markings that are inherent in glass of the era.
Because most items I list are used be sure to view all photos as they are part of
description and condition.
Reasonable offers are always welcome and will be considered.
Thanks for viewing.
I research all items I sell and do my best to list correct description and information. I am a avid collector of all types of glass but not an expert, so if I missed something and you would like additional information please contact me before you bid or buy.  The items I sell are acquired from various local sources and I use recycled packing materials so I can not guarantee that either come from smoke free or pet free environments, please keep this in mind before you purchase.
GLOBAL SHIPPING PROGRAM For international buyers eBay automatically calculates the international shipping cost, duties, taxes and estimated delivery dates upfront, and adds them to the listing which the international buyer sees. The seller doesn’t provide any of that information.
Buyers see estimated shipping and import charges on the listing, which are then confirmed at checkout. These charges are paid by the buyer to cover shipping, handling, customs duties, taxes, brokerage and all other international fees.
Costs can be higher for international shipping, and rates may or may not include pickup and door-to-door delivery with customs clearance. Customs regulations vary by country and not all carriers ship to all locations. International buyers are responsible for paying these additional fees
