    Description

    Up for auction , a early 19th century  church rag doll for your consideration. She is just small enough for a little girl to play with in church. She has mitten style hands , last pic. , a rolled body / stump doll  and she never had legs. Her face is drawn on  , I think the eyes and nose  are drawn on in  pencil and the mouth is ink.She has a sweet smile.  This may be her 2nd face. Her dress is adorable  and  looks hand stitched in  blue with brown ruffles.  I love how the dress drops down lower in the back than the front  and  the sleeves cover her hands, light wear to dress.    She is about 10 inches long including the dress.  The doll  displays great and  has  some light areas  of wear on her  face.
