Description
This listing is for a tremolo assembly made by DiMarzio. These are best known for appearing on select Charvel San Dimas v-trem guitars made from roughly 1985-1986. Alan Holdsworth models initially featured them, and they eventually put them on all of the v-trem guitars, as brass had fallen out of favor. These were handmade for DiMarzio using the same technologies as Fender did in the 50’s and 60’s. This one is in great shape. The arm threads are still biting firmly. You can move the arm around and it stays put. The saddles were changed to Graphtechs by a previous owner. I do not have the original bent ones.
The tremolo is an “F”, or classic Fender spacing. Not the narrow “G”. There is a small manufacturing flaw on the block. You can see a drill bit kissed the wall and opened up one string well just a little. It has no impact on performance.
Includes 6 mounting screws, a claw, 5 springs, and an arm. Sold as is.
