1964 BEATLES ORIGINAL NORDIC HOUSE PILLOW WITH LOOP FOR HANGING RARE

Description

From 1964, The Beatles original Nordic House pillow with head and shoulders graphic and facsimile signatures along the bottom. This is the rarer version with the loop for hanging attached on the left side. Pillow measures 12” x 12” and has a blue backing. The graphic is slightly larger on this pillow as compared to the others, and the fabric is smooth, as compared to coarser fabric on the more common pillows. Does not have tags attached.
The George Harrison signature is somewhat faded, as is the black border just above his signature. The background fabric has overall light staining and has discolored over time; there is a faint red spot on Ringo’s nose; tiny stain above George’s head, and several tiny dark brown spots in the corner to the left of John’s signature. The back is a lighter blue than the other pillows and has scattered light brown stains. There is light wear at the top left and right corners on the reverse, where the fabric has split (less than 1/4”); tiny hole at bottom left corner.
